"I had the TSR3 at 8° for six rounds. Took the PAR to a fitter yesterday. The numbers say stronger. The miss pattern says I overswing on it. Help."
"Played it last week. Twenty-six carts queued behind us on the par-3 17th. Half the lounge says walk it anyway. The other half says pay the fee."
"Three Tour players. Three coaches. Zero raw launch-monitor data posted. We are not the marketing department. Show your work."
"45, knees are 50. Pacific Dunes on day three is going to break me. Is this a badge of honor or a guaranteed orthopedic referral?"
"We watched Cobra put out a $700 driver this spring and the board collectively laughed. The OEM response in Q3 earnings calls will be telling."
"Club championship in 11 days. Handicap is 7.4. Do I play the member tees (6,840) or the competition tees (6,400)? And yes, I've read the dress code twice."

House Rules, In Prose
For twenty-seven years this forum has been a working argument between golfers who actually play the game — the weekend foursome, the 22-handicapper grinding to break 90, the scratch player who can tell a 6-iron's smash factor at the range. The site is peer-to-peer. Nobody here is your licensed club-fitter, your TPI-certified medical professional, or your swing coach with malpractice insurance. Take the gear recommendations as starting points for your own research; take the swing advice as one player's data against yours. If something hurts, see a doctor; if a club doesn't fit, see a fitter.
What we do have is forty-one volunteer moderators — all scratch or plus-handicap golfers, all LPA-certified — who keep the floor open and the personal attacks out. Threads get closed when they stop being about golf. Members get warnings when they cross the line. Banners get muted for a week when they deserve it. We do not sell your data, we do not run third-party trackers, and we have not since the 2016 member referendum that voted ad-tracking out. The site is funded by a $24 lifetime membership and a small affiliate cut from the Pro Shop. That's the whole economic model. There is no second one hidden behind a cookie banner.
If you want to argue a 6-footer at 1 a.m. with strangers who will actually know the difference between a 5-wood and a 7-wood, you are home.
